Our Farringdon based client is growing at an amazing rate and as such are on the lookout for a Lead Developer to join their talented development team.

The client

They are a progressive creative agency that is known for its ability to blend creativity, digital and data to develop leading campaigns. Their Engineering team works across iOS, Android and development, allowing the company to help businesses build the foundation and channels for them to flourish.

The role

As Lead Web Developer, you will have overall responsibility for all web technology within the Creative Products Team. You will be working with current and future clients as well as fantastically talented Product and Delivery Managers, UX and Visual Designers and QA Engineers. You will be responsible for ensuring all of their web delivery is flawless whilst constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

They’d expect you to keep yourself, your team, and the company up-to-date with, and champion, the latest web technology and trends. You will be the leading voice for web with Creative Products and the wider team: steering change, modifying delivery as technologies emerge and fade, allowing them to build capabilities in emerging technologies.

As a Lead Developer you will:

  • Lead, mentor and motivate the talented team of web engineers.
  • Lead hands-on development of well-architected web applications.
  • Collaborate with team members across all disciplines and practices.
  • Keep the team up to date with the latest technology and trends.

The candidate

It would be good to have:

  • HTML5/CSS3 and strong JavaScript skills.
  • Strong JavaScript skills, as well framework experience (React/Angular).
  • JS knowledge.
  • Package management (NPM/Yarn) and Version control (Git).
  • No SQL such as MongoDB would be beneficial, as would data visualisation. AWS hosting would be a boon.

In return for the above the company are offering a salary of up to £70,000 as well as a fantastic benefits package.
