A Leading Travel Brand is currently looking for a Junior UI Designer to join their London team on a permanent basis. You will be working across all digital touch-points, including Mobile, Web, On Board Entertainment Systems and more.

The client

This is one of the most iconic travel brands out there! They are based in Central London and are looking to build out their permanent Design team by hiring a Junior UI Designer to work across all current digital touch- points including Mobile, Web, On Board Entertainment Systems and more.

This travel brand has completely changed the way people can travel from the UK to several destinations with complete ease. They now have links that connect to over 100 different destinations and are looking for a passionate UI Designer to join their team.


The role

This is the opportunity for you to leave your mark on the clients future of digital, you will develop and build on your current skill-set which will open doors for you with future opportunities.

As a Junior UI Designer you will be working alongside UX Designers, Lead UI Designers and Developers to create beautiful visuals across all touch points.


The candidate

You should have the following experience;

  • At least 2 years of experience designing in a commercial environment
  • You should be able to communicate design ideas using a mix of storyboards, mock-ups, wire-frames, prototypes and presentations
  • Be able to develop original and exciting creative concepts that bring simplicity, usability and accessibility to complex interactive design problems
  • Experience in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InVision and/or other prototyping software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • An eagerness to learn and tackle challenges on your own
  • Sound knowledge of the principles of user-centred design, and know how to apply them in a commercial environment
