Three years into their journey, this company are looking to change the face of beauty sales through their innovative eCommerce build.
They’ve achieved tremendous growth through the past few years, generating huge amount of sales by building a talented, motivated and fun team to be a part of. They’re looking to fuel their growth by bringing on two more JavaScript Engineers.
Currently they’re in the process of building intelligent systems to track business performance and empower decisions. You’ll be helping to set the standards and quality of code on their platform. Full hands on across the stack, there is the opportunity to deliver new features and upgrade existing projects and architecture. There’ll also be the opportunity to mentor junior members of the team as well as ensuring that quality and standards are upheld across the board.
Ideally you’ll have previous experience working on high transactional eCommerce platforms and payment systems, as well as previous experience coaching teams and sharing knowledge with less experienced developers – they love nothing more than bashing their heads together and coming with new solutions.
A few of the things you’d be working with include:
Currently the whole team is remote (for obvious reasons!) though ordinarily they’re based near Sloane Square. They do offer both remote working and flexitime though, so if you’re not keen on being in the office 24/7 that’s something they’re happy with. There’s also a generous holiday allowance as well as an extensive training and education scheme (think lunch and learn, workshops, meetups etc.). Most importantly, they really give you ownership of a project. Offering up to £80K for the roles, they’re keen to fly through the interview process so have stripped it down to two stages – an initial introduction call followed by an in-depth technical interview. No tech tests to see here!
We welcome those with alternative identities, backgrounds, and experiences. Our team includes women, men, mothers, fathers, the self-taught, the university-educated, and people of a wide variety of nationalities, ages, and socio-economic backgrounds.
Obviously, we’re looking to ensure it’s a solid fit from both sides: we want you to step into a role you love, and we want to offer you a place you’re proud to come to every day for work.
We know that diverse teams are strong teams, and welcome those with alternative identities, backgrounds, and experiences to apply to be part of life at Zebra People. We are committed to a fair and accessible recruitment process for all candidates. We would be happy to meet any accommodation requests during the application or interview process, please just let us know.
