Interaction Designer

Government Department, Birmingham

This government department are looking for a Senior Interaction Designer to join them as they undergo a digital transformation; you'll be working within a cross-functional agile team working to replace to legacy systems and provide this department with a suite of digital tools to help optimise the experience of their users.

This is a 6 month contract, with potential to extend – and is outside of IR35.

Embedded within an experienced cross-functional Product team, you’ll be working for a government department that works with some of the most vulnerable people within society, meaning that the work they do has the potential to affect real change for thousands of people. With the increasing workload and demands that this department encounter, your work will be crucial in streamlining this and remove painpoints from the user journeys.

You’ll be perfect for this role if you:

  • Used data and research to influence design thinking
  • Have examples where you can communicate the vision and roadmap for a service you have worked on
  • Are confident influencing stakeholders to make positive change
  • Are able to prototype in HTML
