User Experience

Head of Insight (User Research)

The client

This is an opportunity to join an early stage start-up backed by one of the biggest fintech platform companies in the world. They’re a highly ambitious and well backed greenfield business, democratising personal investment in mainland Europe with big plans about how to make investing simpler, more transparent and more accessible to everyone.

You’ll be getting involved in a product that is already well established from the back end and this team is now being created to build out the front-end and overall experience ready for the consumer market.

As one of the first employees you’re going to need to wear many hats; you’ll need to create the vision for how research and insight will be core to the business and how to to get there. However before then you’ll need to help understand what problems need to be solved for initial clients. Using this insight what’s the optimal CX and set of features needed to create for launch? And then what comes next?

The role

You’ll be one of the first employees so if you’re looking for a company where everything has been agreed and you’ve just got to execute against a plan then this won’t be the place for you. However, if ambiguity, the unknown, innovation and ownership are all things that you are looking for in your next career move then you’re in the right place!

You’ll work closely with the also new appointed Head of Product Design whilst the team is built out across the rest of the year (budgets already approved).

Roadmap: Looking to build out the MVP across the next 12 months. You’ll help to obtain a deep understanding of the clients needs.

Remote Working: At this point they don’t have an office (but they’re working on it). They’re going to be a virtual organization with everyone based across Europe.

The candidate

We’re looking for:

➡ Experience working at the very early stages of product definition i.e. working for a start-up or a brand new proposition within a business

➡ Experience working within a regulated industry (preferable, not essential)

➡ Additional language skills are a big bonus (French/German/Italian/Spanish) but experience shipping to international markets is equally relevant
