This well-known publishing company are looking for a new Group Product Manager. This is an exciting time to join as they are having a huge push in pivoting the business to digital.
This highly regarded media giant are currently undergoing a huge digital transformation project. There is a heavy injection in Product and Engineering with a big focus on reader revenue and pushing this to digital.
They are renowned for ground-breaking independent journalism and award-winning digital products with 200+ million unique browsers each month.
This role will normally be based in London but for now, work is done remotely.
As the Group Product Manager, you will be managing a team of 5 PMs, being a senior member of the growing Product and Engineering department. You’ll empower the product teams to help solve hard problems, working with an extremely talented team of engineers, UX designers and scrum masters.
You’ll be working closely with the Global Head of Client Partnerships who oversees the global advertising business and be speaking with teams in London, US and Australia. As the Group Product Manager, you’ll be an expert in your field, understanding the needs of users while also contributing to the highest strategic level to specific advertising challenges.
Alongside this, you’ll be ensuring the delivery of best class in advertising products resulting in greater revenue targets, whether from innovations, third party solutions or sponsorships. You will develop and monitor clear performance metrics and understand how advertising can benefit other areas within the product team.
You will also represent the specific needs of advertising product developments to the rest of the Product and Engineering team’s senior leadership, contributing to the creation of a world-class product function.
