Full-Stack Engineer (Ruby, React)

Ever wanted to work in an office where 10% of the workforce is made up of dogs?

Sounds great right? (Unless you have a dog allergy, in which case this one might not be ideal…).

The client

The company have recently been going through a huge wave of expansion and now boast an office of 60 people (& 6 dogs). They are now looking for someone to join their small 4-man tech team and work across their full tech stack (Ruby on Rails, Elm, React JS, PostgreSQL). Training is on offer on anything you need to get up to speed with. They’re looking for someone who cares about engineering culture and the quality of products the team are building. Also, if you’re keen to be continuously learning/developing, they’re also looking into new tech all the time, recently implementing Elm & Golang.

They are very culture focused and are looking for someone that is going to get involved in their relaxed and fun “vibe”.

The role

As part of the engineering team, you would work closely with the DevOps, Security, Product and Marketing teams. They pride themselves on the quality of their work and so are looking for someone who is heavily quality focused and wanting to produce the best work possible. You’d be tasked with opensource web application development, focusing on responsiveness and scalability.

The candidate

If you’re experienced with a handful of the following tech, they will be more than keen to speak to you and can easily get you up to scratch on the rest:

  • Ruby (Ruby on Rails)
  • PostgreSQL
  • JavaScript (React)
  • ELM
