The automotive industry has an obligation to keep up to date with all of the latest technologies and design trends, and this doesn’t stop at the showrooms!

The client

If you crave for the opportunity to work on eccentric design focussed projects, which promise variety in an ever changing and cutting-edge industry, this one might just peak your interest…

Oh, and you want to work from home for a day or two a week? No problem!

This is a full-service digital agency with over 10 years’ experience in providing complete design/development solutions to a long list of major motoring groups, dealerships and car supermarkets. Their tech team currently sits at 12, split into frontend, backend and design, who all work out of their innovative open plan office in the heart of London.

The role

One of the benefits of working in a digital agency is the variety of projects that you can get stuck into, and this one is no different! You’ll be working closely with the design and backend teams on everything from small website builds to large scale system rebuilds for international clients.

One of their recent projects included reconstructing the full frontend of an impressive platform into a Micro Frontend in order to improve the modular structure, flexibility and scalability of the platform. Having small independent services work together for a large complex application has allowed them to introduce new technologies onto the system such as React/Redux and keep up with the trends of the dev market.

Growth/Skill Development – Since the company was launched, they have experienced exponential growth and that doesn’t look like it will be stopping anytime soon. This means that the opportunity for progression and skill development is through the roof. You’ll have the chance to rapidly climb into a lead position, enabling you to have a good deal of technical influence moving forward and allowing you to be keeping up to date with all of the freshest new tech!

Flexibility – They put a lot of trust into all of their employees and are very keen on promoting a healthy work/life balance, which is why they offer flexible working hours as well as the opportunity to work from home. The better your performance, the more autonomy you will be granted.
