If you’re the type of developer that values technical freedom, collaboration and working on a product which you can help shape and grow, this one might just take your fancy. It’s also a start-up, so if that’s your thing, let me tell you a little bit more…
The company have been going for around 3 years and have a team sitting at around 15 people. They provide fully personalised health advice alongside tailor-made nutritional supplements. Partnering with some extremely prolific doctors, geneticists and biomedical scientists, they customise their supplements based on rich insights derived from a series of three tests. Based on the combined expertise of an in-house team of health professionals, their AI-powered online consultation gives you an in-depth, holistic analysis of your well being, considering your diet and lifestyle alongside how you feel day to day.
Their technology joins up all these data points to fully personalise your health advice and to design supplements specifically for you.
The main project that you’ll be getting involved with would be the migration of their current site over from Angular to React. Being the first fully focussed frontend developer on the team, you’d get the opportunity to lead the transition, having a say in all technical decisions. The great thing is, you won’t even need React/Angular experience prior to joining, so this is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain commercial experience in multiple popular JS frameworks.
You’ll be working closely with their current tech and design teams, so a strong eye for design and a passion for clean code is a must for this one! You’ll also be building new features for the site, as well as upgrading all components of the ecosystem.
Their team currently consists of a lead developer, a full-stack developer and a solutions architect.
Ideally, you’re comfortable taking part in every bit of the creative process, from generating ideas and concepts, to building them using simple solutions to complex problems. You’ll need to be independent and well organised, enjoy taking ownership and responsibility for a project, and consistently deliver high quality work.
