Front End Developer

The role

From our high-traffic websites to our emerging apps, our digital team work with dedication to ensure that Consumers are able to access compelling and informative content at their convenience. As a Front End Developer, you’ll make sure our sites look and feel great and offer an exceptional online experience.


Working with some awesome tech including modern JavaScript, React and Node, you’ll be joining us at an exciting time too, as we advance our digital transformation and adapt our ways of working, leveraging methodologies including Lean Canvas to drive innovation through Product teams. We’ll align your expertise to one of our core products and you will work as part of a cross functional team of UX Designers, Developers and QA to prototype new ideas, and iterate our existing products.


Whilst you will be aligned to a Product team, you’ll also be an integral member of our dedicated and friendly Engineering team. The team is 28 strong at present and growing as we scale to meet the demands of our transformation. We recognize that investing in our team of experts is one of the best ways to support our ambitious journey, and with that encourage knowledge sharing and learning; whether that’s learning a new language, attending a tech conference or booking on to one of our Brunch and Learn sessions we work hard to look after our employees.

The candidate

It goes without saying that you’re an excellent developer with a flair for creating stand out user experiences. Naturally, we’ll need you to have great JavaScript, React, CSS/SASS and HTML5 skills, and you’ll certainly be familiar with or have a desire to learn Node and JavaScript testing frameworks. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with those around you, and you will take pride in sharing your knowledge and developing fellow team members.
