Content Designer

Government Department, Crewe

I’m currently looking to speak to experienced Content Designers for a government department freelance position based in Crewe. This department play a pivotal role in protecting the environment, producing and regulating the food that we eat and overseeing agriculture.

From the food we have for dinner, to the water we drink along with it, this department are responsible for safeguarding and supporting everything that keeps us going. They’re now looking for a Content Designer to join their team to produce content to support a range of needs from a varied audience, as adhering to GOV.UK standards.

You could be working on some really meaty and interesting projects, whether it be looking at banning the commercial use of ivory or providing vital information for flood warnings.


What they’ll be looking for:

It’s key for this role that you have plenty of experience working within an Agile team, working alongside UX Designers and User Researchers, building out digital products. Ideally you will have worked to GDS standards before.

Translating complex information into easy-to-digest content will be your bread and butter and you’ll use analytics to inform your actions and reiterate based on user feedback.
