Do you want to work on digital products that really make a difference? This charity is looking for a new Digital Product Manager to help with the fundraising and ecommerce aspects of their digital teams.

The client

The client a well-known charity who have big ambitions for digital and creative. They help millions of people every year by creating exciting service design work that affect their brand, digital products, campaigns and fundraising.

The team are digital and creative leaders, collaborating across the organisation to deliver design, content, products and services, in an agile and data-driven manner.

It’s an exciting time to join as there is a new leadership team working on a fresh organisational strategy. Over the past two years, they have restructured their digital team to product to create a scrum approach. There is an opportunity here to be hands-on and have a say in improving the way the organisation works as well as working on products that affect people’s lives around the UK.

The role

The Digital Product Manager will be working with the fundraising team to develop fundraising and eCommerce products. This is more on the front-end side of things such as optimising donation journeys, event pages and registration – using data and UX to improve this with an understanding of marketing funnels.

As the Product Manager, you’ll be helping to build a user-focussed, agile culture. You’ll work with the product strategist to develop a roadmap of digital products to support people in bad housing or those who are homeless. You’ll be working in a multi-disciplinary team with 3 other Product Managers who all report into the Lead Digital Product Manager.

Alongside this, you’ll work with stakeholders and the product team on weekly tasks that aim to improve products and services.

The candidate

  • Will have commercial acumen (e.g. retail background is ideal).
  • Understanding of marketing funnels.
  • Worked in a multi-disciplinary team as a Product Manager before, working on a product end to end.
  • Has identified opportunities for product changes.
  • B2C experience.
  • Charity background not mandatory.
  • Will have more experience working as a front-end Product Manager (UX, Design aspects of a product).
