Digital Account Director with experience of growing accounts required for a brilliant user experience focused agency.

The client

Fantastic digital agency who specialise in user experience and user-centered design. They are seeking a Digital Account Director to join their team to work on their clients in the UK and internationally.

The role

As Account Director, you will work with a diverse team including the Client Partner and Principal Strategist. You will be reporting to the Senior Account Director and working closely with Practice Heads in Project Office, Strategy & Planning and Experience Design.

Also, you will take responsibility for shaping the internal resources to match the needs of your clients and play the lead role in setting the growth strategy across your client relationships. You will be an adviser to your clients, developing solutions to business problems that create successful outcomes and encourage positive organisational change.

Part of the role as Account Director is ownership and control of key account relationships and proactive development and management of relationships with senior clients and stakeholders to open up new opportunities.

You will be delivering compelling pitches in response to competitive briefs, alongside developing and negotiating high value commercial contracts and service level agreements.

The candidate

  • Plenty of relevant experience in client services.
  • Substantial experience in a digital agency setting.
  • Familiarity with user-centred design processes.
  • Ownership and control of sales targets and delivery budgets.
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management at a range of levels.
  • Ability to travel inside the UK and internationally and to be based in client offices when required.
  • Must have experience working towards quarterly sales targets.
