Senior-Lead UX Designer

Multiple positions across London

Permanent UX roles are in abundance whilst the contract market can tend to be a little more up and down. However, given Zebra People's reputation within the field of UX recruitment, we've pretty much always got something bubbling, depending on your level.

The contract market can be quite seasonal at times but at Senior-Lead level for UX contractors, we’ve normally got something on. Be it 6 months working on a government project, 3 months working on an app for a retailer or 2 weeks working on a pitch for an agency, etc.

More often than not, our clients will look for contractors at Senior to Lead level. So you’ll be expected to have worked on projects end-to-end, including being able to implement research methodologies, at least in guerrilla form if not something more formal. This will also need to be evident in your portfolio along the usual array of, user flows, wireframes, prototypes etc.

Previous experience that has become increasingly popular, is any product-focussed work. Ideally working on complex, data-heavy sites. Ecommerce/transaction experience is also popular, as ever.

Even if you haven’t worked on the projects mentioned above but have bona fide experience as a Senior UX Designer in recent roles, rather than a UX/UI designer looking to get more UX-focussed, then get in touch.

And even if you are more on the UX/UI spectrum, then please do get in touch still. I just might not have as many roles for you, but will do at some point!
