UX and Service Design

Senior/Lead UX Designer

Well known bank

6 month contract working within the digital team of one of the UK's most well known banks. Looking for a Senior-Lead level UX Designer to help support the team on some key projects.

Whether you already have banking experience on your CV or looking to get some, this particular name will go down a treat in terms of pedigree and recognition, not to mention a nice chunky stretch of 6 months.

Projects tend to be both consumer-facing and business-focussed. Consumer-facing products go well with candidates who have experience of working on a product that can up-sell other parts of the business as well entailing some fairly complex user journeys.

Business-focussed products will usually be crucial internal tools and systems used across the business – again, very complex user journeys as it’s not about consumers but instead the employees that use these tools.

As usual, the client will be looking for you to produce core UX design deliverables, especially hi-fidelity prototypes.

In addition you’ll need to be able to run workshops and conduct user research – sometimes guerrilla and sometimes lab-based, so you’ll need formal UX research experience too, although won’t need to have specialised in it.

The client won’t need you to have worked within the financial sector before (although it is a bonus), however you will need to have worked in a focussed Senior or Lead ‘UX Designer’ position in previous/recent contracts.

If this sounds of interest and suits your experience, then please send your CV and portfolio to me ASAP to stand the best chance of getting an interview!
