With offices in Leeds and Lisburn, our client is a successful and ambitious company built around an excellent engineering team involved in the design, development and manufacture of rugged electronics devices and software for use in Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance.
They are on the lookout for an AI Software Engineer to join them. Reporting to the Head of Software, you’ll need to have a strong background
in Microsoft / Linux development using a variety of languages including C++, C# and Python, ideally on GStreamer platforms. Any Previous experience developing AI or deep learning solutions would be a distinct advantage.
You’ll be supporting the development of the company’s products include niche telecommunications and electro-optics, which are used in a range of environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
environment.
implementation, to test verification, deployment and support.

In terms of your background, they’re looking for someone who’s got at least 3 years commercial experience developing in C, C++ and Python, ideally in an AI or deep learning environment.
You’ll also have solid machine learning algorithm development experience as well as having previously developed embedded solutions, preferably in Linux. One of the key things for them is finding someone who does have a deep routed passion for everything AI.
A few things that would be a bonus would be any prior experience developing in Android or iOS, JavaScript experience (Knockout would be good here) as well as having worked with DIGITS deep learning ecosystem. They work in an Agile environment, so it’d be awesome if you have done so too.
They’re offering up to £65K for the position and due to the nature of the work, you would need to be able to gain SC (5 years based in UK, no criminal record etc.).
