But who wants the long hours? Especially when UX is just tact on instead of being an embedded philosophy. Now imagine finding an agency whose day ends at 5.30PM everyday, each project starting with good UX, projects that include designing for Voice-enabled devices or In-Car Experiences and who also offer a chance to travel the world (expensed on them!!)...

Who they are;

This is a digital agency that’s been around for over 2 decades with offices in London, Berlin and Poland. There’s 150 people in the London office across Media, Tech, Creative, Data, UX and more and are based within a brand-new office in Farringdon with a shared open-air rooftop.

International Travel Opportunities

UX team members often travel to see clients in Europe and to collaborate with other offices so it’s great opportunity if you love travelling and exploring the world. This isn’t mandatory though but they will offer all of this free of charge!

UX & Research Focus 

This is embedded throughout the business and every project starts with a deep consideration of the UX and how UX Research will form the basis of all decisions. UCD thinking is very important here. No fighting for budgets, you’ll have it on every project.


This role will offer you the chance to be hands-on gathering insight using both generative and evaluative research. Primarily generative research though especially for early-stage discovery projects across new and existing clients.

New Business 

As with any agency, working with interesting and unique clients is as important as existing clients. This role offers you to have a significant impact on this. Once the door has been opened by the business development team, you’ll collaborate with various teams including UX on new business pitches for prospective clients

Building Research Function 

On a long-term basis, you’ll also be offered the chance to grow out the research function within the business through additional hires. This would ultimately mean progression opportunities as well.

UX Team Size;

Currently a team of 4, the Senior UX Researcher & Lead Strategist would be the 5th. 1 Head of UX, 1 Lead UX, 2 Mid weight UX. UX team works closely with a Creative team and Dev team (mostly .net devs)

Recent Work

There are lots of interesting case studies found on their website however, they’ve done a lot pitching recently and won some pretty cool work too that’ll be offered to you from day one. This includes:


Paypal used to be the disrupters but are now being disrupted by the likes of Monzo, Tandem etc. This agency is working with them to transform the business to allow Paypal to thrive in the world of challenger banks and give easy access to your bank accounts.


Exploring how Voice could be implemented by creating Amazon Alexa voice commands. Integrating into the website as well so that the website works much better for voice.


Complete platform redesign with additional support for in-car experiences. 2-year project that is launching in 21 countries.

Ways of working;

Agile/Wagile, Lean, Kanban (depends on the project). Design in Sprints and Collaboration is greatly encouraged. Don’t work in silos, daily stand ups.

UX Designers and UX Researchers talk to clients directly but not straight away from joining the company. This means less red tapes and barriers for you to get through before you can ask questions important to your work.


Incredibly diverse – 21 different languages spoken in the office and a healthy mix of genders, race, nationalities, religions and beliefs all in the spirit of collaboration. Very proud of how diverse the teams are.


Not your typical agency hours. Usually 9-5.30PM but UX team leaves between 5-5.30PM on most days. Remote/flexible working is offered and can be agreed in advance i.e. start late, finish early or working from home once a week.

Stage 2 f2f, presentation of a small, pre-prepared task (not expecting anything perfect, more so about thinking and process)
