FinTech

Product Designer wanted to join a fintech working on advanced payment technology.

The client

We are looking for a Product Designer to come and join the wider team in a well-known fintech working on advanced payment technology. They’re a people-first business who strive to constantly grow and develop their talented teams.

The role

Within this role, you will work closely with other designers and the broader company, produce exceptional work for cross-platform digital products and design for complex needs of internal users as well as customers.

Current team = Head of Product Design, 2x Lead UX/Product Designers, Senior Product Designer, Designer (marketing), Brand Designer

Remote working:

This is a hybrid role needing you to come into the London office weekly (1/2 days ideally).

The candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working end to end with an even split across UX/UI. However, as there is a solid design team in place as well as a design system, so if you are slightly leaning more towards one side, things can be flexible!

The key attributes we’re looking for are real problem solving, stakeholder skills and a good attitude. There will be a great team to support you, but this is not a junior role and you should have some solid experience under your belt and a portfolio that demonstrates solutions and processes with a mixture of interesting work.

Fintech experience is a nice to have but not essential.

Interview Process:

The interview will be a 2 stage process as below:

  1. Initial exploratory chat with the Lead Designer/Senior Designer.
  2. 15-20 min presentation of an existing case study (your choice) from your portfolio plus further questions afterwards. Will be with the Head of Design/CPO.
