You'll join one of the squads as part of a solid Experience Design team with over 10 people in it, working through deep and well structured processes.
You’ll be part of a cross functional team at an exciting time to come on board, as you’ll be leading UX to drive personalisation and also evolving UX on their home and landing pages . This is a great opportunity to make a huge impact on how people access and enjoy using their service across the UK, both through the web and the app.
The company itself has got to be one of the most well known within their sector and on top of a great team not to mention brilliant Head of UX to report to, they also offer some notable benefits including bonuses, flexible working (in ‘normal’ non/post Covid times), pension etc – typical of what you’d expect from a big organisation but also one that has paid attention to the culture past just having a beer fridge and a ping pong table!
You would also get a 10% bonus, half based on company performance and half based on personal performance.
Their office is based in London but they don’t expect anyone to work from there until it’s safe – but the plan will eventually be for employees to return, albeit on a flexible basis – please bare in mind if you’re not currently living in London.
Sponsorship is not being offered currently either.
You’ll be spending time with customers, capturing user needs and identifying opportunities that will inform and shape your design decisions. You’ll be designing across the fidelities to bring concepts to life through clickable prototypes and collaborating with developers to create shippable designs that exceed expectations every step of the way.
You’ll be working with design system so you won’t need to create new UI but need to be confident to work in Figma or similar still.
You’ll also run usability tests, mock-up early to mid prototypes, able to synthesis feedback and make recommendations and familiar with mental modelling also.
They also need someone who can write design hypothesis and think about how best to involve customers to make the right design decisions.
This role is really for an analytical problem-solver, who can hit the ground running and help evolve UX-maturity across the business even more.
If this sounds of interest then please do send your CV and portfolio through ASAP for review.
