Innovation lab

I currently have an exciting opportunity for an Android Engineer to work for an Innovation Lab in London that is leading the next revolution in transportation. They are currently driving human progress through freedom of movement, working on some of the most complex transportation challenges out there.

The role

The Android Engineer will be someone who is analytical, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, while being in touch with new mobile developments and technologies. Ideally they would have previously worked in a highly collaborative environment as they will working in a cross functional team throughout the lab.

  • Experience with Android Development (any experience in the Transportation sector would be a bonus)
  • Someone who has a good understanding or experience in a design environment / human centred design
  • A desire and an ability to learn new technologies
  • A passion for delivering great user experiences
  • Ability to innovate and partner with their design team to iterate on ideas
  • Any experience or desire to work with AR/VR (Bonus)

  • Participate alongside your multidisciplinary team in the entire design process
  • Participate in design research to build understanding and empathy for users’ needs
  • Keep up to date with code languages, prototyping tools, and frameworks

This an opportunity not to be missed, the Hiring managers aren’t expecting the Engineers to have all of the above, however it would suit someone who has ‘design thinking approaches’ and a desire to make a positive impact on our future. The position will be based remote for now but plans to be Central London based (post-COVID) and there will be a two-stage interview process. The salary on offer is up to £65,000 along with multiple benefits, including flexible working, personal development plans, various socials and more!
