The client

Working with Python and the latest most exciting cloud features from AWS, you’ll be tasked with significant contribution to a fast-moving product that’s always looking to improve and better engage.

You’ll be joining them at a time when their microservice architecture is just taking off and your contribution to their growth and success will be vital. You’ll be working on several exciting projects from the off.

Technology is at the heart of their business and you will be joining a team that delivers innovative software in a unique structure of continuous improvement based upon the DevOps philosophy. They’re extremely proud of their close-knit, family orientated and fun culture.

The role

As a company they offer both and online and instore service that combines retail, service and logistics. Their award-winning service has also been going the longest, almost 30 years, and they have outcompeted our rivals, as their multi-platform technological successes have enabled them to assume a position of market leadership and grow 10-fold in the past 3 years.

In terms of your previous skills, they want someone who has tangible experience working with Python and Django (ideally at least two years), with any experience with PostgreSQL being a bonus. Any AWS experience would be the cherry on the top! The bulk of your work is going to be with Python though any knowledge and experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS would be great.

The candidate

In return for the above they’re offering a salary of up to £65K, as well as a pretty extensive list of benefits.
