Zebra People – Sports Day ’14

Over the past few weeks we’ve had a few new starters to the team so we thought it would be a good opportunity to get all the team together and celebrate our new colleagues. Raj and Pritesh (our Tech and Creative recruiters) organised the afternoon, which started with a quick trip to Bar Kick for a bit of table football, and then we were hurried off to our next destination.

The main event of the evening was bowling followed by pool and dinner at All Star Lanes round on Brick Lane. Despite everyone’s calm exteriors, the competitive streaks would soon make an appearance. The games started off slow, but soon heated up, with myself and our Finance Manager both getting a strike in the second set! I won’t name any winners for fear of causing a drama, but I will say that everyone was on top form*, it was a great evening, and a brilliant chance for everyone to catch up away from the office!

*We’re even thinking of starting up a local bowling league…

Our intention was to […]

‘Hire Different’ – Can Recruitment Change The Diversity Story? I recently went to an event hosted by Facebook Creative Shop, where the topic was how recruitment can change the diversity story within the creative and tech industries. I received the invite with not overly high expectations to be honest, as I’ve been to a fair […]

It’s October. Things are going okay, but could be better. 2019 is fast approaching. New year, new you? That thought will probably run through your mind at some point soon. Maybe you’ll act on it, maybe you won’t. If you do, first thing you might do is post your CV online. At this point you […]

This year Zebra are proud to be sponsors of UX Live 2018! We’re all super excited to be supporting this fantastic opportunity for designers and researchers to come together and gain further insight into the growing world of digital design. If you’re reading this, chances are you have a pretty good portfolio; 3 case studies, end to end with ‘what’ and ‘why’ covered perfectly. Amazing 👍 But don’t forget to “UX” your CV either. It might be why your application was rejected. While you get started, here’s some things I’ve noticed recently you should definitely […]

If you want the best UX-ers then provide the best CX (customer experience) within your hiring process, else you risk ending up with who’s left over and damaging your brand experience at the same time… UX as we all know, has boomed and with that boom has come an influx of newly reformed UX candidates […]
