Great internal agency focusing in the digital publishing sector looking for a video editor to join their video team.

The client

I am currently working with a great internal agency for a well renowned content company which is made up of sectors which are set out to mirror a traditional agency with sectors such as Design, Video, Project Management, Client Services etc, and they are on the lookout for a Video Editor with heaps of creativity and enthusiasm to join their team and help shape the design work and build out the team further whilst remaining hands on.

The role

They are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Video Editor to join their video team and collaborate with the creative, commercial and editorial teams working with some of the biggest and well known media brands. As their editor you’ll be creating short form video content, working across a variety of projects across creative, design and technical. Some of your day to day would include editing, filming, animation motion graphics and rendering.

You’ll be reporting to the Head of Video and keen to develop your skills and knowledge within pre/post-production, and be comfortable creating concepts and responding to briefs. You’ll be working alongside other editors and the rest of the creative team. You’ll be eager to learn and build on your existing knowledge of shooting and creating film content.

The candidate

What you’ll have:

  • You will develop creative concepts and ideas for video content and usage.
  • Edit footage and arrange sound to ensure video content is of the highest quality.
  • You will have experience of filming and editing digital video content to a high standard with proven experience working for a studio, agency or independently for clients.
  • Understanding of audio workflows and ideally have experience of working with audio professionals.
  • Proficient within Premiere and knowledge of AFX.
