The role

As Head of Project Management you will have the opportunity to truly take ownership of the PM function across the agency, as well as the chance to take a seat at the leadership table as part of their senior management team. You’ll inherit a well developed, robust function – but will be encouraged to innovate, seek new ways of doing things and develop a strategy to further drive improvement and excellence.

As well as overseeing the day to day running across an exciting portfolio of projects, you’ll lead, manage and mentor a team of Project Managers – playing an active role in individual performance, growth and development. You’ll oversee budgets, resource allocation, timelines and schedules – ensuring projects are correctly scoped from concept through to final delivery. You’ll work extremely closely with your clients, ensuring you understand their vision – and partner with them to consult and provide new ideas to further enhance their digital capabilities.

You will take responsibility for the performance and output of the function and everything within it, including budgets, strategy, operations, people and admin.

The candidate

Is an established Head of (or Project Director looking to take a step up) with a track record of leading and successfully delivering digital projects, products and services. You are able to demonstrate your ability to lead, mentor, manage and inspire teams – and are able to provide examples of where you have been able to partner closely with clients to deliver above and beyond expectations.

You’ll be able to seamlessly step into the role, managing budgets, timelines, resources – and are ready to take ownership of the PM function running it as a business within a business, taking full accountability for the vision of the team and the business, ensuring profitability and quality assurance.

You understand the intersection between brands and technology, and are able to bring new ideas, innovation and thought leadership to the role. You’ll need to have experience in brand identity and development, as well as a strong digital background – with experience working across a multitude of digital outputs from complex platform builds, app & mobile development, VR&AR development, user testing, prototyping etc.

Above all, you are an advocate of best practise, able to problem solve and deal with challenging situations with a cool head. You enjoy leading teams, setting examples by doing – and encouraging excellence at all times.
