Working on a multi-market content and digitally focussed communications-led campaign in the international sports industry.

The Role

  • Pull together and drive forward a strategic vision in the role of senior project manager.
  • Ask the right questions to ensure strategy and activation ideas are interrogated and refined ahead of execution.
  • Effectively oversee and guide junior team on a multi-market content and digitally focussed communications-led campaign in the international sports industry.
  • Lead on building of compelling presentations and plans.
  • Lead the client, all communications and vision for the project.
  • Work with team to pull together a channel strategy recommendation, designed to amplify content as effectively as possible through digital, social and PR.
  • Lead team through creation and use of project management tools such as WIP documents, Basecamp, client approval systems.
  • Understand talent and influencer selection and evaluation process and tools.
  • Use previous experience to manage talent, both ambassadors and micro influencers.
  • Identify any potential risks to client reputation and the best way to mitigate them.

The Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Senior Account Director in a PR or Digital agency role (or similar in wider sponsorship or sports marketing industry).
  • Proven track record leading multi-market campaigns
  • Understand best practice client and team management processes.
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written
  • Organised and process driven.
  • Curiosity for best practice and award-winning work
  • Keen interest and knowledge of sports and entertainment
  • Comfortable dealing with clients at all levels and strong ability to think on your feet
  • Flexible approach to working hours is required (including weekends, bank holidays and unsociable hours if required)
