Independent mid sized product design agency who have carved out a brilliant reputation in the market specialising in product design & development. Driven by digital innovation, they design and build technology solutions to create new value in new markets. Their core areas are research, user-centered design, organisational design, strategy, creative tech and engineering and work with global household names across a variety of sectors. They work in agile, multi disciplined teams to create next level customer experiences and innovation.

The role

As Client Director you will take complete ownership of accountability for the client portfolio, deepening and directing the overarching client relationship.The successful candidate will facilitate the link between all stakeholders and maximise opportunities. By partnering with the client you will ensure client excellence and governance across the collaborative sets, and then take full accountability for the overall direction of the client interaction/programme.

You’ll work closely with internal agency and client product teams, and support changes required, and provide ideas and business lead strategies that ensure long term results. You’ll support and advocate best practice product lifecycle methodology – and assist in translating client requirements and external trends in to product strategy.

You’ll play an active role in business development, preparing proposals and participating in sales presentations – identifying ways in which the agency can support the client in the achievement of its business and communications goals, by achieving clear revenue results through growth targets, and being accountable for quota and selling ideas or solutions to clients.

The candidate

  • Is an established Client Director with a strong understanding of digital product design, digital product development systems and processes
  • Has experience growing and handling complex, multi-million pound accounts in the digital space
  • Has worked on large scale product builds either as a client lead, or previously as a product Manager
  • Can demonstrate knowledge across customer development, UX/UI design & Product Management, Conversion optimisation, consumer insight and metrics
  • Is well versed in human centered product design
  • Is passionate about managing teams and growing client relationships
  • Has a demonstrable track record of growing a business (managing and growing digital accounts with accountability for a sole quota of over £2 million)
  • Understands the latest business and consumer insights and leverages new opportunities and change
  • Is an entrepreneurial thinker, proactively generates and presents new ideas
  • Is able to use data to validate logic
  • Can demonstrate a proven track record of growing multi-million pound accounts over 12-18 months
  • Understands Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes and Organisational design
