UX Designer for Pioneering New Sport Based Video Service

UX Designer for Sports focussed media group in London – £35,000 - £50,000

I’m currently recruiting for a UX Designer to work for a pioneering new sport-based video on demand service which will disrupt the way we watch sport on TV.

The Client

My client is a start-up organisation under the umbrella and security of a huge well-known media group.  You will be working on a brand new subscription based sports VOD platform that allows you to watch sports from all over the world under one umbrella both live and on demand. Streaming across multiple connected devices from smart TV, games console, PC, mobile, tablet and wearable technology devices my client is at the forefront of creating a new household name in television.

The Role as UX Designer

As UX Designer you will play a key part in designing world class user-friendly next-generation VOD experiences that will disrupt the way sport is watched globally. Working in a start-up environment you will help shape, test and design the current and future iterations of the VOD service.

Working in an agile non-hierarchical environment you will closely with UX, design, product and marketing to launch a world class VOD experience across web, mobile and TV, under an MVP approach

Reporting to the very experienced head of UX with a wealth of valuable experience for you to learn and be mentored by you will undertake the full UCD process from research be it guerrilla testing to sketching, creating complex user journeys, wireframes to prototyping.

The Candidate

You will be an experienced UX designer with a portfolio demonstrating a wealth of experience designing UX solutions over multiple platforms. If you’ve worked on a product or have experience working on VOD platforms then that will be useful but not essential. Having UX experience and a passion and excitement to design products and platform that will disrupt the way we watch TV will be great too.
