With a huge portfolio of products and services, my client caters to a wide range of financial interests, both consumer and business focussed across the UK and USA, their two largest markets. However, their Design & Digital Office is where the real innovation starts. Working across Strategy, Delivery and Deployment, the team at the Design & Digital Office ensures that all of their Digital products are customer centred, commercially viable and innovation led.

As far as their digital experiences are concerned, the Experience Design team deliver award-winning and captivating experiences across their Web and Mobile channels while working collaboratively with their business and technical teams.

Based in a state-of-the-art campus, the Design & Digital Office is a rare space where you can hone and refine your design skills in a fun, forward-thinking and hugely supportive environment. Moreover, you’ll be working in a multi-disciplinary team which will present a great opportunity to be involved in a variety of aspects of their digital products.

The Role:

Working within a team of 20+ strong, UX, UI Design, Researchers, UX copy and Product Owners, you’ll play a key role in shaping and defining the User Experience across all of their digital products in collaboration with the wider team.

Main Responsibilities:

Delivering high quality deliverables and creating exciting and customer focussed digital experiences across web and mobile.
Deliverables will include: customer research, sketches, wireframes, prototypes and more.
Usability testing to validate the teams and your own designs.
Working collaboratively with Developers, Marketing, BA’s and more to create robust and functional end-to-end solutions.
Advocate new ideas and thinking to enhance and innovate on existing digital customer experiences.
Ensure the User Experience adheres to brand guidelines.
Work closely with stakeholder and project leads.

The Person:

Demonstrable UX skills and experience, preferably within a Senior capacity and ideally, 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Broad knowledge of UX deliverables including Wireframes, Prototypes, Storyboards, User Journeys, Sketches and more.
Ability to work alone and as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplined team.
Strong communication skills.
Ensure best UX practices and guidelines at all times.
Technical understanding (or working knowledge) of development skills, e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript and mobile platforms.
