Mid or Senior User Researcher for Personalised Online Retailer in South West London – £50,000 - £60,000

Freelance and Permanent User Researcher required for one of UK’s most high profile eCommerce marketplaces.

The Client

A well-known awarded online retailer who thrives in offering a unique and personal retail experience is seeking an experienced commercial user researcher.

Less than 10 years old it’s already outgrown 4 offices and is continuing to rapidly grow due to it’s ongoing popularity and innovation it offers it’s customers and it’s users.

Working in the product, technology team you will report into the very experienced and excellent lead researcher.

Based in South West London you will work in awesome modern offices and receive great benefit package including very generous holiday allowance and a decent sized bonus.

The Role as Mid or Senior User Researcher

You will be the champion of User Research within the digital product team, working closely with UX, designers, development and product to provide relevant customer insight whilst ensuring that they are constantly developing and producing the right tools and products for the user and the business.

Working in a fast paced lean environment you will conduct research on new and existing products, constantly testing, iterating and testing again to help provide the team with relevant hypothesis.

Your role will include creating personas, experience maps, focus groups, usability testing, surveys to name just a few of the research techniques.

The Candidate

You will be passionate about research and constantly thrive to learn and develop to do research quickly to support the experienced product team to learn about their customers and partners.

Running user research, you will be responsible for advising the team on how best to develop on existing and new products and projects.

It’s important you have

  • A number of commercial hands on User Research experience
  • Worked in an agile environment and have experience in conducting quick user research where you are constantly testing and iterating.
  • Experience in an array of research methodologies from one to one interviews, remote user testing, user testing, focus groups etc.
  • Confident in assessing what research methodology is best to use in certain situations and projects.
