User Researcher required for an innovative scientific data driven intelligence B2B product

The Client

An innovative forward thinking start-up who is pushing the boundaries in the way it collates and provides relevant data and information to an array of different industries. The tool uses complex scientific algorithms to search the internet not to only find data but assign relevance to it.

Based in awesome offices in Shoreditch, they’re currently around 20 people but growing due to their ongoing success. Very secure well-funded start up with investment of over £1 million so far. Really well run start up, offer very flexible work to life balance and really care about their employers.

The Role as User Researcher

As a research driven technology company User Research is at the forefront of everything they do and your work will actively impact and shape the product. Working in an agile environment, very closely with the Product and UX team you will provide relevant research and insight into their existing product but also research and develop new tools.

As User Researcher you will work on the existing product proving insight on how to improve it and take it forward through an array of research methodologies such as more formal user testing to more guerrilla based research or by ethnographic or more emotional type research to name a few.

Other interesting projects coming up is a more service design related project looking at every touch point the client and user goes through from when they first come in contact with my client to actually using the product.

 

The Candidate

A practical and commercial User Researcher who can demonstrate different research methodologies in a commercial environment with some solid experience as a design researcher or user researcher is important.

  • Skilled in an array of research techniques ideally both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Experience working on B2B products (not essential though)
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Ability to express your research findings in different intelligent ways, be it sketching, prototyping, presentations, workshops etc.
