User Research Contract for Pro Bono Gig

User Research Contract for Anxiety/Mental Health Pro Bono Client in London – £350

I’m currently recruiting a User Researcher for a really interesting 2 week pro bono User Research contract.

My client is a start up who have recently launched an app to help the young communicate and deal with issues from anything like stress and anxiety to more serious mental health problems. The app allows young people to post problems, share solutions and access expert help and educational resources all through a safely moderated environment. This company is a really impressive start up who have already been recognised for their work by winning the Teach First innovation award for their idea.

For this contract, I’m looking for a User Researcher for 2 weeks initially, but they are ideally looking to form a longer term partnership where the Researcher can get involved sporadically…they are able to offer lots of flexibility around this.
As User Researcher they’re looking for you to provide the right research methodologies, be it focus groups to user interviews, in order to find out if this is the application for them, and whether the information it provides is the right solution for the problem that they’re trying to solve. Research will be looking at the way users are using the app, the content provided, and what is the most useful way to help these kids. Quite a discovery research project for you to discover what the users want from the app and how they can get it.

The client can provide relevant participants to conduct research with, and youth workers to make the research environment easier if need be.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, then please get in touch and I can introduce you to the relevant person.

Ideally looking to pay around the £350 mark, however the work you are doing would actively make a huge difference so this is a really nice project to work on.
