User Experience Designer – £40,000-£50,000
User Experience Designer - £40,000-£50,000 for Not-for-profit, Publishing company in London – £40,000 - £50,000
My client is the leading not-for-profit brand empowering consumers with expert advice and insight into everyday products, services and consumer rights in the country.
Offering advice and insight into mortgages, loans, product reviews, legal services, travel, consumer rights and so much more, they’re the go-to brand to provide YOU the consumer with all the information and resources you’ll ever need. Moreover, the vast majority of their revenue comes from their subscription service to their publications but this revenue is then donated to the campaigning part of the organisation to fund advocacy activity and inform the public about consumer issues.
They also don’t accept any advertising and the organisation receives no government funding so the brand has total control over all aspects, including UX!!
The Role as User Experience Designer - £40,000-£50,000
Reporting into the Principal UX and a team of 7-10 consisting of UX and UI Designers, you’ll work in an agile, lean environment where they typically have 3 week sprints and are highly ideation driven. Moreover, your responsibilities will encompass a pure UX role, translating Personas and Diary Studies produced by the Researchers into high fidelity Wire-Frames, Prototypes and compelling User Journeys. You’ll also work collaboratively with other divisions of the Digital team such as Development, Marketing and Product Design teams.
Main requirements include 2-3 years of experience in a UX role as well as experience within multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll also have a very good understanding of Web and Mobile design principles. Experience designing for UX in a Publishing environment would be highly beneficial but not essential.
