Unique opportunity for a lead User Researcher to build a digital team within a renowned traditional research agency looking to innovate their offerings.
My client is a renowned research agency solving the trickiest of client and biz challenges with effective insight and in depth research. Dominating the UK market they also have global offices in the USA, Singapore and Australia. Known for their traditional offering, focusing on 7 areas such as customer experience, branding, employer engagement and compliance, they are now expanding their digital offerings and need a lead User Researcher to head up this new area of expertise.
Boasting major projects within the finance sector, leading crucial research to enable new products to launch for the masses, they also have work with hotels and hospitality businesses etc.
The Role as Lead/Head Research
This is a unique opportunity for a lead User Researcher to make their mark and be the driving force behind bringing a traditional research agency into the exciting world of digital.
Driving research within the digital space you will shape the UX strategy and focus on the bigger picture; owning digital research, setting up processes, looking at strategy and helping them build new area of digital research within the company.
During the early stages this will also be a hand on role with the initial work stream likely to focus on usability/user testing, remote testing, and guerrilla typed research to more ethnographic studies– this will quickly expand whilst you expand and adapt their new capabilities.

You will be an all-rounder lead User Researcher looking to take a step up and head up your own team whilst driving digital, providing strategy and looking at bigger research picture.
Ideally ‘Principal Consultant’ level with several research years under your belt.
Ability to set up process’s and strategies with help of lead management.
Knowledge of key digital/UX research techniques – e.g. user testing, expert reviews, card sorts, persona development etc.
A proven track record of looking at the bigger picture and undertaking strategic projects
