UI Designer for Growing Tech Start Up in Central London – £40-50,000

This is a rare opportunity to join a growing tech start-up, with the opportunity to shape not just the look & feel of the product but also help to craft an exceptional end to end journey for their users.

Based in Central London, they are working to shake up a traditional market sector – where there is huge room for growth & creating a more user focused experience. It is is a busy hub of activity & as a team they are a social bunch with lots of outings & a positive working culture.

They are currently looking for an experienced designer with a true love for their craft to join the team & have a huge impact on the product moving forward, leading the design of all User Interfaces across multiple products. As a

As a small , agile team there is genuine opportunity to have a real impact on the product, taking ownership & also contributing shaping the digital journey of the company. You will work closely alongside a UX focused hybrid designer , PM’s , Devs & QA but also regularly work with the stakeholders & CEO so you should have the ability to communicate not just your ideas but your process of thought / design rationale.

You will;

  • You will work across 4 products as part of a responsive web product, creating not only beautiful but highly functional sites which make what is often a ‘stressful experience’ a joy!
  • Create hi & lo fi wireframes / prototypes / storyboards / user flows
  • Produce beautiful UI Designs with considered typography, iconograhy, layout  & brand image which you can easily communicate to the tech team
  • Use tools such as – Sketch , InVision , Adobe Suite and if needed UX Pin / Quartz.

This role would suit someone who has worked as part of a small team where they have had the opportunity to delve a little into the UX or a UI Designer with a passion and genuine interest in developing more. This could be an opportunity to step up and take more responsibility or perhaps sidestep into a more hybrid role.

There will be lots of focus on user data to drive the designs & working with a UX research you will seek to implement the requirements into your design.
