Senior/Lead Product Designer – Start-Up Social App

Senior/Lead Product Designer for Start-Up Social App in London – Up to £70,000 + Benefits + Equity (Negotiable)

I am working with an exciting social start-up who are building an app targeted at helping parents find other like-minded parents in their local area. Already with a community in excess of 100,000 people and counting it has already evolved into a fully-fledged community.

As well as being a rapidly growing company these guys have an awesome culture with a huge focus on work/life balance. The founding team is made up of parents with young kids so they fully understand the importance and struggles of balancing work with a young family.

Having just completed their series B funding they are looking to grow the team with the addition of a Senior/Lead level Product Designer to join their ambitious, close-knit team based in London.

The Role as Senior/Lead Product Designer

As the Senior/Lead Product Designer you will be involved in every aspect of the design process from user research right through to pixel perfect UI designs and play a pivotal role in taking their product to the next level.

The app is at a usable stage, however, there are some important features that they are looking to develop. The on-boarding process can be streamlined and they are looking to implement a referral scheme and freemium model so a long list of services and features will be yours to play with as well as improving the existing user experience.

Aside from leading in the design of their product you will also help to develop their brands’ online presence as a whole and act as brand guardian for all visual communications. As the business grows you will assist in hiring team members to support you.
