Senior UX Researcher for Home Improvements Marketplace in Central London – £55,000 - £60,000 pro rata
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior level UX Researcher to join a popular home improvements marketplace as the first specialist researcher. It will be a 3 month fixed term contract to begin with the view to go permanent.
Our client is a medium-sized business focused on connecting homeowners with home improvement experts in the local area. The platform offers homeowners the ability to read reviews and choose a trusted service provider.
With ~80 employees in the Central London offices, you’ll be working in an Agile methodology with a Senior UX Designer, team of devs, product designers and visual designer. The work culture is friendly, supportive and your research findings and recommendations will have a big impact on the product and features.
The Role as Senior UX Researcher
Upcoming projects will include conducting user research for a variety of features on the platform including the subscription model, the in-app chat/messaging tool, the ratings section and the home improvement specialists profile section.
The team are big believers in iterative problem solving and you will be championing user research within the company. You can use whichever research methodology that works best for that project and ideally you’ll have experience using a wide variety of both quantitative and qualitative methods.
This will be a great role for you if you enjoy working in Agile, multi-discipline teams and you’re a real team player. The team work collaboratively and there will be lots of brainstorming sessions across various departments.
With an exciting roadmap ahead for 2017, no one day will be the same and you have the opportunity to facilitate focus groups, interviews, usability studies, ethnographic studies, A/B testing, diary studies, eyetracking & lots more!
