Mid UX Designer for Digital Identiy Internet Start Up in London – £40,000 - £45,000

I’m currently recruiting for a really exciting UX designer for a well funded secure digital identity start up helping to define, adapt and grow it.

The Client

My client is a digital identity system that offers free identity checking system, allowing you to do various things from securely registering sites without usernames or passwords to checking that people and organisations are who they say they are. Currently in product development stage you will literally be responsible for helping get the product out to market with the best possible user experience.

Really exciting ambitious global start up who is looking to launch in UK, USA and India to name just a few countries by the end of the year. Currently around 45 people but rapidly growing due to the impressive progress being made so far.

Really secure start up, big advertising and marketing budgets who really believe in the value of UX.

The Role as Mid UX Designer

Coming in at the early stages you will work on a new exciting identify product championing the UX and helping to define, adapt and grow it. Reporting to the head of design you will be working alongside 2 UI designers, Senior UXD and a Senior UX contractor. You will work on the full UCD lifecycle accomplishing both research and strategy you will work on  various projects from the account section, localisation, digital wallet to designing UX for android and IOS apps to name just a few.

Due to the start up nature the UX process is still being defined however the role is very much about solving design and product problems with innovative solutions. You will be working in a very collaborative environment, lots of open discussions and working as a team to produce an amazing fully responsive cross platform product.

You will be involved in conducting research from testing the app to more guerrilla type research and running strategy from helping define the product roadmap to assessing and prioritising key features.

 

The Candidate

Need to be an experienced and confident UX designer who is a good problem solver, this is a start up so you will constantly be solving daily challenges from the developers. Ability to defend your design decisions to stakeholders who sometimes think they know best and have the ability to clearly communicate for the user and customer is vital.
