The Role as Product Designer ( UI / UX )
As a Product Designer, you will join the Web team to create slick, innovative experiences that keep people coming back for more. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, in a highly collaborative, agile environment, working side by side with interaction designers, product managers, data scientists to name just a few to create delightful user experiences.
The core aspect of this role will be working on large-scale web products, focusing on the web booking process ensuring that they are visually slick, highly useable and allow users to process through an easy to use yet beautiful site.
Although your focus will be upon the UI, you will work to have a clear understanding of the UX that underpins the visuals & will be required to work collaboratively with dev so a good understanding of the capabilities of code is beneficial.
As Product Designer, you should have three years’ experience working on responsive web builds, with any experience in E-commerce being particularly beneficial.
You should have:
- Strong design skills working on large-scale responsive sites
- A portfolio demonstrating a range of digital design work
- Wireframing & rapid prototyping skills
- Awesome skills within the Adobe Suite & Sketch
- Base understanding of code / the dev process
- Grounding in the basics of UX Design & UCD Principles.
