Plate spinning Senior UX Designer required for trusted lifestyle brand to champion their UX across their digital platforms.

The Client

A multi platform publisher taking the world by storm for almost 50 years, this client is steering through digital in the fast lane. Operating in over 100 cities across the globe they have an average monthly audience reach of over 100 million users across all channels of which 60% comes from digital and half of these from their mobile audience.

As many publications fail to adapt quick enough, they are snowballing through digital innovation launching new capabilities to expand their ever growing portfolio. Curating quality content throughout a multi-platform experience they are now looking to centralise their offerings for a complete end to end user experience.

The Role as Senior UX Designer

As Senior UX Designer you will be instrumental in creating company-wide change from moving from a reactive UX and design process to a product focussed end to end customer experience. This is an exciting yet challenging role where a strong UX designer with full UCD experience is required to pinpoint the UX and UI pain points and improve them. Types of projects vary from centralising the checkout process to looking into the overall usability or scalability of their products.

You will be required to take a holistic design approach, looking at a birds eye view of my clients digital landscape and conducting research to identify user/business challenges and requirements to improve the overall end to end customer experience.

Reporting into the Senior VP of Product you will have the opportunity to make real change within the business and over time bring in and grow a team behind you.

The Candidate

As a candidate, you will need to be a plate spinning problem-solving UX designer whose happy wearing multiple hats from conducting user research to improving the interaction design or using analytics to improve your end design.

Experience in

– Lifestyle, media, publishing or entertainment sector

– Working in agile environment across a portfolio of cross-platform product and services

– Ability to design for an array of different personas and a range of target audience

– Experience producing user journeys, wireframes, prototypes

– A strong visual eye and ability to use analytics will be useful but not essential.
