Lead .NET Developer experienced in using C# and MVC frameworks to develop web applications and services required to work in one of the UK's most innovative insurance companies.

The Client

One of the UK’s best known insurance companies who are expanding upon their digital offering. Working in their digital hub you as a part of one of their agile scrum teams you will create new features, continuously improving the web experience for their customers through the development of their online portal services.

The Role as .NET Lead Developer

As a Technical Lead you will show the proficiency necessary to lead on projects and take the lead on new and existing projects. As the lead developer of a scrum team you will be pivotal in ensuring that development is efficient and you will check the code of team members in order to maintain high standards. You should be a capable and competent developer able to develop and deliver high quality web applications using technologies including C# MVC and JavaScript. Through your input and understanding you will become a valued member of one of the scrum teams focused on delivering new features and improvements to existing and future products. Using your knowledge and experience you will identify new areas of innovation to  increase the quality of delivery across the UK and worldwide.

The Candidate

With experience working  as a Senior Developer or Technical Lead using the latest .NET technologies and MVC frameworks, we’re looking for experienced and confident developers interested in developing great products on a large scale. Therefore commercial experience of building C# MVC framework applications within an agile environment is a must.

We’re also looking for demonstrable software engineering best practice such as experience with TDD, BDD, Continuous Intergration (Jenkins Maven) and Code Analysis software (i.e. Sonar). Commercial exp3erience of responsive design for mobile and tablet devices is preferred as well as source control through GIT and experience with web services (XML, REST, SOAP).
