The Role as UX Designer

Your role as UX Designer will involve working on this client’s intranet, essentially their hub for accessing everything to do with the company, from booking meetings to seeing what events are on; it is an absolutely integral part of every employee’s everyday life. Your work will help evolve and optimise this platform and push it in an exciting and more interesting direction.

Your role will include but not be limited to:

Identifying the needs of the user and distilling these insights into your design process
Identifying problems, and advocating solutions
Producing sketches, wireframes and prototypes to be tested internally
Working collaboratively with designers and developers to ensure consistent design experience across all platforms
Participating in their frequent Hack days

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be:

Enthusiastic and driven, someone who really cares about the users and implementing their needs into the design
Experienced within research and user testing
Able to work timely and efficiently whilst also being meticulous with the details
A problem-solver who is able to prioritize tasks
Someone who understands how to engage the users and is experienced with responsive design
Excellent at communicating and confident engaging with stakeholders
