Lead UX Designer required for a 9 month maternity cover role for a charitable organisation who strive to improve health for the masses?

The Role as Lead UX Designer

You will be an influential lead in a multi discipline team managing a team of 4 and will have the opportunity to really make this role your own. As the Lead UX designer you will provide strategic leadership in UX by assessing developments in the wider digital industry and integrating these into the business’s key UX capabilities to match with business needs, working proactively with key stakeholders to ensure these benefits are realised.

This role is highly strategic focusing on research and analytics though spans full lifecycle from conceptual , UX work with product owner, pitching to external agencies, research; guerrilla testing, focus groups, card sorting etc. analytics; heat maps, site audits etc. and then selling your ideas into design, using appropriate deliverable; prototypes, wireframes, site flows, personas etc.

Are you…

  • Experienced in full UCD lifecyle.
  • Experience working on a portfolio of projects at one time, leading a dynamic team of multiple disciplines?
  • Have a strategic and analytical background with a strong background in IA.
  • Experienced with stakeholder management and communicating benefits to push projects forward
  • Ideally have experience managing a team.
