I am currently recruiting for a leading digital agency that are enjoying a period of substantial growth through delivering excellent work coupled with the backing of new acquired parent company. The agency have been creating some amazing mobile work over the past 5 years but have diversified into omni-channel and strategy experience in the past 18months. This change of direction has strengthened and deepened their existing relationships and brought in an array of impressive new clients.
In the past 6 months they have acquired a new Director of UX and Design coupled with a Director Design Strategy. This has given the agency the platform to build the team from the top down which is rare to see in agency land. Their client base is around 50% financial services albeit consumer facing products coupled with a mixture of media, travel and FMCG clients. As mentioned they have a strong foot print in the mobile space but responsive design has been their key offering this year working across multi-channel touch points including in store.
The Role as Lead User Experience Designer
This role will be helping the Director of UX engaging and leading new client projects therefore strong communication and delivery of projects from inception through to delivery is required. As mentioned the agency are going through growth so projects will range from large design and build along with continuous campaign or smaller tactical projects.
With the team is still in its growth stage as they are gaining a stronger foothold in the travel sector and with this are looking for a Senior UX architect to help with this continuous development. They need someone who has a well-rounded toolkit from in-depth research through to testing and validating their design throughout the project.
Typical skills and experience needed:
- Portfolio demonstrating end to end design experience
- Leading UX design on projects and supporting/mentoring others
- Formal and informal research techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Developing customer insight to inform and develop recommendations
- Sketching, wireframing, user journeys and site maps
- Platforms including; mobile, tablet, kiosk and web
