A well-funded secure start-up is looking for a JavaScript Developer to help build a product that connects all family generations together.

The Client

An early-stage start up that focus on family connections are looking for JavaScript developers to come on board and own the product, they are creating a way for families to share memories safely using the power of video.  Based in comfortable canal-side offices in North London, they have come through successful incubation and funding rounds to secure huge investment.  The product is currently at MVP stage and currently undergoing user-testing and feedback before it is released to the mass market.

The founders wanted to create a product that would allow people to connect with future generations. Their concept is about bridging the gap between the generations and allowing people to see and hear the older generations tell stories of their lives. They have done this with a clever video content sharing platform that allows people to create an online legacy.

 

The Role as JavaScript Developer

As the first front end focused developer in the business, you’ll have complete control of the UI of the App, the technologies used and major input into the direction of the app.  It is currently written with isomorphic JS (React JS) with a mobile wrapper to make is cross-platform.  You will work in a structured TDD environment alongside a Node JS developer, a Product Manager and a Product Designer as well as the Founders.
