Head of Design needed to join an independent creative agency, who focus on digital innovation and strategy.

The Client

I am currently working with a Global Innovative & Creative. Regarded for their ability to live and breathe brands and to deliver across a fully integrated spectrum but with a digital focus, ranging from print, to digital, video, content, social and everything else! A well-established and long running agency they’ve been creating brilliant campaigns.

Having recently undergone new management over the last few years, they are currently continuing to grow and deliver multi-channel creative work and are looking to develop further both this side of the pond and in the US. Since they first begun, they’ve been the builder of iconic, world renowned brands.

The Role as Head of Design

They are looking for a Head of Design to be part of their journey on moving the agency forwards and shaping their proposition. You will have heaps of experience defining design and creative in agencies, be highly digitally aware, and create aesthetically cool, cutting edge design across a multitude of mediums / platforms. As their Head of Design you would be working alongside the ECD in driving the creative forward.

You would be inspiring the design team, working on developing creative concepts and carrying these through to completion on a number of clients.  Your portfolio will be full of innovative concepts and designs, with a fluid look and feel to it, showcasing ideas that really show off your creative thinking … think creative concepts tied in with new age digital!


The Candidate

You will have:

  • A wealth of experience heading up design teams whilst remaining hands on throughout the process.
  • Aesthetically ‘cool’ digital crafted portfolio.
  • Be digitally aware of what’s going on in the design industry.
  • The gravitas to lead a team and have previous experience doing so.
