Driving innovation in the world of banking, their key offering is as a tech and data business and will be launching new products to disrupt and innovate the financial markets.

The Role as Director of UX

Championing UX across the business with the ear of the CEO, they are looking for a Director of UX to help morph their processes from waterfall to a fully integrated agile methodology.

As the UX advocate you will strive to improve the quality of UX and build relationships across the business; since building newer products with lean UX conversion rates have rocketed and therefore this is an ideal time join and make your mark within a company keen to listen and advance their UX capabilities. Leading 2 researchers and 4 UX Designers based in London and an external global team, they need someone for an appetite to experiment and measure, demonstrating the value of UX to meet business needs and bringing customer-centric methodologies further into their fast-moving organisation

The Candidate

You will be an enabler, building key relationships throughout the business internationally, resounding the importance of UX and demonstrating the impact new products will have on profitability. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior UX leader who wants to evolve and develop a UX organisation that will be consumed by millions.

  • Collaborating with product management, technology, and business colleagues to devise a customer-centric, Agile way of producing innovative products that customers need
  • Supporting several different digital properties and brands across multiple platforms a cohesive, intuitive experience
  • Organising growing and mentoring a team of designers and researchers in multiple markets, managing the project load and allocating people accordingly, ensuring deadlines are met, and setting up team members for overall success
  • Developing processes that are based on quantitative and qualitative customer data to empower iterative product development
