Digital Project Manager for UX/Digital agency in London – up to £42,000 + bonus and training budget

The Role as Digital Project Manager

My client is an established digital agency with a focus on user centred design and customer research projects. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Digital Project Manager to join their team working across a portfolio of accounts.

  • As a digital project manager you will oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle ensuring client objectives are met
  • You will also lead your own projects owning the client relationships at kick-off meetings and also post campaign
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external project teams and stakeholders; continually manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables, project plans and budgets
  • Accustomed to handling budgets in excess of £100k and an annual portfolio in excess on £1m
  • Plan, schedule and track project milestones and deliverables, project plans and budgets
  • You will be a strong relationship builder who can comfortably manage client expectations
  • Support client services teams in proposal writing
  • Experience of understanding set-up requirements for user research programmes

The Candidate

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ relevant project management experience specifically in managing digital design/UX projects
  • Ideally you will have some formal training in Agile project methodology (e.g Scrum) but if not you will have worked in an agile environment
  • Manage and motivate project teams – usually consisting of 1-5 consultants/freelancers
  • You must be able to create rapport and relationships across a range of clients and functions
  • You will be responsible for managing multiple projects from the initial concept to final delivery
  • Happy to take on a client facing role with the necessary skills required to work with and manage clients, suppliers and colleagues
  • Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience of creating detailed timelines
  • Good understanding of latest digital creative and platforms and trends
