Seeking two experienced Integrated Account Directors for a busy mid sized London based agency.

The Client

Are a busy branding and communications agency who work with global, highly regarded brands. They specialise in advertising, website design and development, email marketing, media planning and buying, social media, and strategy and planning. With an in-house content studio they are able to provide the tools and resources to shoot, edit, create special effects and go to final finish on video and audio.

The Role as Account Director

As Account Director you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key accounts, working strategically to understand and enhance brand communication activities and oversee financial management of spend and budgets.

You will act as a strategic business partner for your client – understanding the key challenges facing the business and brands you will quickly become a strong partner for them. You’ll understand how how to develop the right solutions for their problems and be able to judge what is right for them creatively, providing insight, advice and consultancy.

You will be the key contact for the client on a day to day basis – acting as the guardian of the brand, and ensuring that the work being produced exceeds the expectations set.

The Candidate

You are an experienced Account Director who has a track record of delivering excellence in a creative agency environment. You have a proven ability to grow, nurture and maintain lasting relationships. You are aware of new technologies and how they can be used appropriately for your clients. You like to lead and to inspire, you thrive on a challenge and enjoy managing and mentoring team members. You work well under pressure, and are adaptable to changing situations and priorities. You aren’t afraid to push back, but have an ability to do so in a positive and proactive way.

You understand on and offline channels, and how to effectively represent brands in an integrated, full service capacity. You know the solution from traditional print production through to digital, social and TV.

Financially astute, you are experienced when it comes to financial planning cycles and accounting systems. You are able to pre-empt and negotiate against potential budget cuts as strongly as possible, and understand the difference between revenue (billing) and profit. You are able to keep track and actively measure your team’s time on the account, and understand that working efficiently is key to profitability and ensuring you and the client are working well together.
