Having already raised £11million in funding and grown to a team of around 30, they are now looking for an ambitious Senior Product Designer to join the team and help to embed an even stronger design culture into the brand. They already hold design in extremely high regard, so much so that their first ever hire was a designer!


The Role as Senior Product Designer

As the Senior Product Designer you will be helping to establish the brand and style guides that will drive all communications for the future as well as developing the product that the whole company is built around.

Key responsibilities:

Take ownership of a product that is set to shake up their industry.
Design pixel perfect, clean and intuitive user interfaces.
Work closely with the development team to ensure that the designs are translated in the way you want them to be.
Implement strong design processes and methodologies that will help to define the product moving forward.
Conduct and analyse user testing to influence your designs.
Mentor a junior member of the team.
Help to grow the team in line with the business growth.

What you should have:

  • A track record of designing functional User Interfaces for mobile products.
    A strong understanding of user centered design principles.
    Confidence in your skills and the ability to manage stakeholders accordingly.
    Experience working closely with development teams.
    Experience arranging and conducting user interviews/research sessions.

Things which would be useful, but not essential:

  • An additional interest in designing for print.
  • Previous experience in a start-up environment.
  • Experience being involved in the recruitment process.
